Interactive E-Learning Screens

Project Overview

This project was developed as part of my role at Acteon Communication, where I was responsible for designing page and screen layouts, developing e-learning content, creating PowerPoint presentations, and preparing final assets for client handover.

The task involved designing interactive screen template variations for a digital learning module focused on risk awareness. The objective was to create a visually engaging yet user-friendly layout that would support learner interaction while maintaining clarity and accessibility. The templates were built for use in Articulate Storyline 360, ensuring functionality aligned with platform capabilities.

Final Result

The final outcome consists of multiple interactive screen layout variations featuring bold colour gradients, clear visual hierarchy, and intuitive toggle-based interactions. Each version explores different ways of presenting the same learning question - “How would you describe risk?” - while maintaining consistency in navigation and iconography.

I chose this design direction to balance engagement with usability. Bright, layered backgrounds and organic shapes were used to create visual energy and maintain learner attention, while content panels and structured spacing ensure the interface remains easy to navigate. The toggle switches and selectable elements were intentionally designed to provide immediate visual feedback, reinforcing interaction and improving the learning experience.

Consistency was a key consideration. A unified icon set and navigation style were applied across all variations to ensure familiarity and smooth progression through the module. The layouts were also designed with adaptability in mind, allowing content to be updated or repurposed efficiently for different clients.

Overall, the design reflects my approach to e-learning: combining strong visual design with practical functionality to create interactive experiences that are both engaging and instructional.
